Life at CHOC

Help support the Rott family

We thank God that Chloe's blood transfusion went smoothly ! She had it at night and was able to sleep through most of it.   She has been taking all the medicines like a champ (with a little help from candies and toys )  but we are happy that she is taking them. The medicines are the key to the first months success. The doctors say that this first month is the most important. They call it the "Induction phase" the goal is to get the cancer into remission   Once in remission the cancer is completely wiped out and they have a 2 year plan that should keep it from coming back.

Chloe has been having a rough day of stomach pains. The doctors say that is a normal part of the treatment but We are praying that her stomach feels better soon.   Even through the pain she had fun with her brothers Caden and Kevin who got to come visit. She loves them so much.

Tomorrow is another day of chemo. They are introducing a new one that is supposed to have a higher chance of adverse reactions.  We are hopeful and praying that her body can take it without any issues.

We are overwhelmed by the support and generosity that we have received and cannot thank everyone enough.

- Andrew ( Chloe's daddy)
