First steps in a long journey
Help support the Rott family

This week we found out what true heartbreak feels like, when we learned that our little princess Chloe has leukemia. I cannot express the pain my family is feeling, but we have also been blown away by the support we have received from family, friends, and even complete strangers. It has been a series of emotional roller coasters, and we are only days into this long journey. We are trusting in the promises of God and look forward to seeing how He will work miracles and take a horrible situation and use it for the good. I just cannot see it yet.
I'm still learning a lot of the terminology and how cancer treatment works but here is some of what we know . Chloe has B cell ALL leukemia, that according to test so far, is contained to her bone marrow. It is the most common form of leukemia and should be very treatable She has a few things going for her, the doctors say. First; She is between the ages of 2 and 10, and second; She has a low white blood count going in to it. Also, the treatment plan is one year less for a girl than a boy. So far, the doctors are saying that this type of cancer has around 90% curable success rate There are other factors that can bring the percentages up or down, and we'll learn more about her risks as test results come in. Her chemotherapy treatment plan is roughly 2 years and has different stages of intensity
Tonight we had a answer to prayer when we learned that the cancer cells are not in her brain and spinal fluid We had been praying that it would not be there as that would require more extreme treatments. Thank you God! We pray for a complete healing miracle but also pray for individual things to make her treatment and quality of life as good as possible.
Please pray for Chloe. For healing, peace, and comfort. Please keep our whole family in your prayers as well.
Thank you,
Andrew ( Chloe's daddy)
